Highlight-to-Act Feature

When you highlight any text in your Word document, McCarren AI will automatically recognize that selection and treat it as the focus of your next prompt in the chat.

What this means​

  • You don’t need to copy-paste the selected text into the chat.
  • Just highlight the portion you want help with — then type your prompt as usual.
  • McCarren AI will act only on the highlighted content, whether that’s rewriting, summarizing, fixing tone, translating, etc.

Examples​

  • Highlight a paragraph and ask:

    → “Can you rewrite this more formally?”

  • Highlight a bullet list and say:

    → “Turn this into a short executive summary.”

  • Highlight a clause and ask:

    → “Simplify this for a non-legal audience.”

This makes quick edits and refinements seamless — especially in large documents.
